Left-Sollism
[edit]Left-Sollism or True-Sollism is a Sollist Ideology created by the 4th president of Sordland, Anton Rayne. After the 1953 Sordish election of Anton Rayne, Left-Sollism became the ruling political ideology of Sordland. Following Rayne's successful re-election in the 1957 Sordish election, it became the largest faction of the United Sordland Party (USP), and remained the dominant ideology of the USP until the 1992 Currency Crisis, although it remains politically influential among the USP to this day. It has been described by Anton Rayne as "the real and true implementation of Sollism".
Economic Outlook
[edit]Left-Sollism is characterized by an embrace of state-capitalism, although with less governmental ownership then the state-capitalism practiced under Tarquin Soll. It further embraces a strong and robust social safety net. Examples of this include the Workers Rights Act(WRA), Universal Medication Decree, and Affordable Housing Act. Left-Sollism advocates for increased but regulated immigration, implementing a points-based immigration system in 1959. Left-Sollism also advocates for attracting additional foreign investment, such as by increasing the EPA limit to 49%
